Zoom Fit
The Zoom Fit button on the Viewer toolbar pans and zooms to provide a close-up view of the model while still fitting the model entirely within the Viewport.
The Zoom Fit command may also be called by right-clicking the background in the 3D scene and selecting Zoom Fit from the menu.
The Preset Views options lets you cycle through all the Standard Views by right-clicking the background in the 3D scene and selecting Preset Cameras.
Pressing the F6 Button does the same.
Focus Commands
The Focus on Point/Part command shifts the center of the view to a selected Point on the model, or Part selected. The center of the view is also the center of rotation.
To focus on a point/Part:
- Open the Zoom Fit menu on the Viewer toolbar.
- Or, Right-click in Viewer
- Click “ Focus on Point" (A white dot will appear when your cursor hovers over available points on the model.)
- Click a Point on the model – The Point will shift to the center of the view.
- Or Right-click on the desired Part to move it’s Center Point to the center of the screen to be used as the new rotation Point.
Select Focus on Surface Normal to rotate the view Normal to the Surface selected
Select PMI Annotation to rotate and center the view Normal to the PMI annotation selected
Select Annotation Plane to rotate the view Normal to the PMI annotation selected and do a Zoom Fit
Multiple Viewports
- Selecting the “Multiple Viewports” Icon allow you to select up to 4-Viewports.
- Each one is can be Activated by selecting it, one at a time, so you can work with that viewport.
